European project GROWMAT impact

Adhering to the accessibility rules for people with physical disabilities is essential in all aspects of everyday life. In particular, however, as far as the tourism sector is concerned, reducing the concept of accessibility to priority should be the main objective of professionals working in this sector.

All people with disabilities should have access to hotels, restaurants, means of transport, beaches, museums, etc. in order to be able to enjoy their holidays.

The European project GROWMAT (Erasmus+ KA2) aims to educate tourism professionals on the concept of accessibility and excellent service for people with disabilities. In particular, e-learning training programs for entrepreneurs in the field of tourism and hospitality are planned to be implemented on the accessibility of people with disabilities.

The project is implemented by 9 organizations from Greece, Spain, the United Kingdom, Denmark and Belgium.
