{"id":1471,"date":"2017-01-23T13:02:36","date_gmt":"2017-01-23T13:02:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/neo.growmat.eu\/?p=1471"},"modified":"2019-02-12T13:03:28","modified_gmt":"2019-02-12T13:03:28","slug":"joint-staff-training-in-uk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/growmat.eu\/eu\/joint-staff-training-in-uk\/","title":{"rendered":"Joint Staff Training in UK"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Joint Staff Training meeting for Growmat Project took place in Taunton, UK, from 22 to 26 of May 2017.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The partners worked together for 5 days, using the method of Service Design, to create an effective training course on Accessible Tourism.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the Service Design procedure, useful feedback was taken into account from:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Experts in the tourism sector, such as tourism entrepreneurs, business mentors, tourism professors e.t.c.,<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">people of the project\u2019s target group, such as old people, students, people who are working in the tourist sector etc,<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery interval=&#8221;3&#8243; images=&#8221;200,201,202,203,199,198,197,196,195,194,192&#8243; img_size=&#8221;800&#215;500&#8243;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the meeting, a brief thematic visit took place to a touristic site, recording accessibility features.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The main outcomes which were produced during the meeting were the following:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Specify the desired soft skills that the target group should gain from the training<\/li>\n<li>Determine the pedagogical approach which will be used<\/li>\n<li>Adjust the details of the training course<\/li>\n<li>Specify the following steps of the implementation of the project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Partners decided that the training curriculum will be finalised the following months.
