As in previous years it enabled <strong>Business <\/strong>and <strong>Entrepreneurship<\/strong> students to take part in the pitch contest judged by a panel of experts in the field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new technologies and accessibility formed the theme for this year\u2019s event. To open the day, <strong>Marijo Irastorza<\/strong>, <strong>Xabi Diaz<\/strong> and <strong>Gorka Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong> presented the <a href=\"https:\/\/growmat.eu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Growmat<\/a> (for accessible tourism) and Empower (for digital literacy) European programmes; <strong>Cdea<\/strong> is taking part in both. This was followed by a series of speakers who spoke on various aspects of the theme for the day: <strong>Marijo Moreno<\/strong> explained the importance of accessibility, <strong>Guillaume Fontagn\u00e9<\/strong> spoke on digital marketing in tourism and <strong>Zuri\u00f1e De Anzola<\/strong> about the importance of adapting digital platforms to the handicapped.<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To close the first half of the event speakers from <strong>Fomento<\/strong>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tknika.eus\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tknika<\/a> and <strong>Elkargi<\/strong> explained the support available for those deciding to undertake a business project. There was also a round table discussion between members of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.secot.es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Secot<\/a>, <strong>Creactivalia<\/strong> and <strong>Innovatx<\/strong> and<strong> Xabi Ortiz<\/strong> (chef and writer); they talked about the professional and personal aspects of entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Last of all came the pitch contest won by the Cooking Department Staff with their <strong>El rapidito<\/strong> project.
